Police warn drink-drivers face Christmas in jail

Police warn those who drink-drive over the Christmas period face spending the festive period in jail.

The Roads Policing Unit insist those caught over the legal limit will be dealt with accordingly.

The reminder comes of a 24-year-old man crashed while drink-driving after a night out last week.

The RPU revealed he's now been handed a prison sentence and a three-year ban from driving.

The police's campaign against drink-driving will run throughout Christmas and into the New Year.
