Police are seeking witnesses after a car was hit by a passing vehicle while a mother was trying to get her child out of the parked car.
The incident happened at around 8.40am on Monday on Somerset Road in Douglas.
The mother's car was parked with the driver's side facing the curb, while she was getting her young child out of the passenger's side when the collision occurred.
A silver vehicle, possibly a Citroen, hit the passenger door and didn't stop at the scene.
Officers say this was a potentially dangerous incident, but that no-one sustained any injuries.
Anyone who can help find the driver responsible is urged to contact Police Headquarters on 631212.
