The Government will start offering free advice on reducing energy consumption.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture is launching an Energy Efficiency Scheme in a bid to help residents reduce their fuel bills and cut the use of fossil fuels.
Minister Geoffrey Boot unveiled the plans in Tynwald, including the introduction of a telephone hotline and website with tips it's claimed can help save a typical household over £250 per year.
A roadshow promoting the energy efficiency message will take place in the New Year.
The Government wants to cut emissions per person by 80% by 2050.
