Excavator window smashed in Onchan

Police are investigating after a digger was damaged while parked near Groudle Glen.

The yellow excavator had its side window smashed between 5pm on Tuesday last week and 8am the following day while parked at the Manx Electric Railway tacks opposite the former Howstrake Holiday Camp.

The machinery was only delivered to the site two days earlier.

Officers have described the incident as a mindless act and are appealing for anyone who can help them find those responsible to get in touch.
