Amber weather warning still in place

An amber weather warning remains in place as snow and ice continue to affect the Island.

The Ronaldsway Met Office expects further snow and hail storms throughout today.

The Mountain Road, Avondale Road in Onchan and Shoulder Road, Sloc and Round Table in the south of the Island are all closed.

The Department of Infrastructure has been gritting routes overnight, but police are urging motorists to beware of ice as temperatures fell overnight.
