Some Douglas properties are still unable to use their water supply after sea water got into the system.
Manx Utilities warned those on North Quay and Church Road in Douglas not to drink, cook with or wash in water from their taps yesterday afternoon.
Investigations are continuing and the utilities board is due to issue an update at 10am once further samples have been taken.
The water can still be used to flush toilets, but shouldn't be given to pets.
Water bowsers have been made available at Tesco, Quine's Corner and the Sea Terminal.
