The police insist those who are threatening towards hospital staff or paramedics will face a court appearance.
The warning comes after a man was sentenced to 10 weeks in prison for being verbally abusive and threatening towards a crew of paramedics who were trying to help him
Following the incident in October he was arrested and later charged with provoking behaviour, before being given a custodial sentence by the courts.
The Isle of Man Constabulary says a robust stance will always be taken against anyone who threatens medical staff at the hospital or paramedics crews.
