The Department of Health and Social Care won't be renewing a contract with a company run by the Health Minister to provide cleaning services to those who receive income support.
Kate Beecroft's Manx Home Care firm have operated the commissioned cleaning service since 2003.
122 Manx residents currently benefit from the service, which provides the majority of users with around one hour of cleaning per week.
The DHSC says those who use the service will be contacted over the next six weeks to assess their needs and determine whether further social care support is needed
The service will stop in January next year when Manx Home Care's contract expires, and is expected to save the Department around £140,000 per year.
