Driver leaves scene after causing significant damage to wall

Police are investigating after a vehicle caused significant damage to a wall in Douglas before leaving the scene.

The brick wall at the junction of Vicarage Road and Meadow Crescent has been hit at some point over the weekend, with the motorist responsible failing to inform the police or the owner of the wall.

Officers believe the vehicle involved will have sustained significant visible impact damage.

They're particularly keen to speak to the driver of a medium sized blue panel van that was seen in the area around the time the incident is thought to have occurred.
