Christmas safety campaign launched

The dangers of pre-drinking are being highlighted ahead of the festive season.

The Island's annual Christmas safety campaign has launched in the run up to the holidays, and will run until January 7th.

The Isle of Man Constabulary, Public Health and Bus Vannin are warning against drinking before going on a night out.

Posters and flyers will be displayed around the Island showing the potential consequences of pre-drinking, including convictions, illness and violence.

The posters will also provide information on getting home safety.
