A former pub in the west of the Island could be demolished to make way for new homes.
Planning permission is being sought to demolish the Waterfall Hotel in Glen Maye and construct four terraced houses.
The Waterfall closed around three years ago, and the application says multiple attempts to make the business work have been unsuccessful.
It also claims the current building couldn't be renovated as the internal walls, floors and roof construction don't meet current standards, while the building is starting to fall into a bad state of decay.
