Tynwald Mills confirm ice rink will operate

A temporary ice rink will be able to operate over the festive period in St John's.

Tynwald Mills had a planning application to run the facility rejected earlier this year, but has now confirmed the ice rink will be able to open next month.

The retail centre has revealed that it intends to run the ice rink as it has done in previous years, with the marquee in the overflow car park being dismantled in January.

A petition against the original planning decision attracted over 1,000 signatures.
