Over half a million passengers traveled on the Island's railways this year.
Isle of Man Transport recorded a 13% increase in passenger numbers on the Steam Railway, Manx Electric Railway, Snaefell Mountain Railway and Douglas Bay Horse Trams between March and November.
Almost 17,000 of the extra 66,000 using the railways was recorded on the mountain trams, despite a shorter season and services being suspended due to braking issues.
The Department of Infrastructure believes the increase is largely down to more coach trips and cruise ships visiting the Island.
