A Bill proposing changes to the Island's abortion laws is due to go before the House of Keys at the start of 2018.
Dr Alex Allinson's Private Members Bill on Abortion Reforms will be given its first reading in January.
The Ramsey MHK has been working on the legislation for almost a year, and has apologised that it's taken so long to prepare the proposals.
The changes would allow more women to undergo terminations on the Island, with the majority currently having to travel to the UK to pay for a private procedure.
