One of the Island's lifeboat crews was called out after the Ben-my-Chree received a distress signal off the coast of the Island.
Douglas lifeboat was launched to help search for the source of the distress signal off Laxet yesterday morning.
The Ben had picked up the signal while coming into Douglas earlier in the morning, resulting in the lifeboat being launched.
The team found a fishing boat in the area, but confirmed all was well with the crew, and returned to the lifeboat station at 10.15 having found nothing.
