Planning permission sought for joinery workshop, cafe on Head Road

A business is seeking planning permission to open a furniture showroom, joinery workshop and coffee shop on Head Road in Douglas.

The Tradesman Group wants to open the facility at Ivy House on the industrial estate.

The planning application says the cafe would seat 12 people and be open between 8am and 8pm, while the entire site would create six jobs.

The applicant also wants to fit out the existing warehouse for joinery and use the ground floor as a retail area.
