MHK seeks details on medical, forensic handling of sexual assaults

Garff MHK Martyn Perkins will ask the questions in next week's sitting of the House of Keys.

How the Island handles sexual harassment and assault will be discussed in next week's sitting of the House of Keys.

Garff MHK Martyn Perkins wants to know what provision the Department of Health and Social Care has treating the medical needs of victims of sexual harassment and assault.

Mr Perkins will also seek details from Home Affairs Minister Bill Malarkey about his Department's provision on forensic examinations in sexual offence cases on the Island.

The House of Keys sits on Tuesday.
