Laxey Bridge closes for resurfacing

A bridge that has been open for just over a year will close for resurfacing works today.

Laxey Bridge will shut daily from 9am to 4.30pm between today and Friday for resurfacing and lining work.

The bridge opened last September as a replacement to the previous structure, which collapsed in floods in December 2015.

The Department of Infrastructure hopes to maintain vehicular access for residents where possible.
