Income Tax and National Income receipts are up by £9m over the first six months of the financial year.
The Income Tax Division revealed £82.7m in income tax was collected between the start of April and the end of September this year, compared with £77.9m last year.
Meanwhile, National Insurance receipts were up from £88.7m to £92.9m over the same period.
However, the total of income tax arrears is also up by £1.2m to £12.1m.
A further £3.9m is owed in water and sewerage rates.
The figures were revealed in response to a Freedom of Information request.
