Ramsey car dealer closes

The future of one of the Island's best known car dealers is uncertain after it suddenly closed down.

Raymotors in Ramsey is reported to be going into liquidation, with staff told last night not to come to work today.

The petrol forecourt next to the car sales showroom is also closed.

Raymotors opened more than 65 years ago, and is an official dealer for a number of car manufacturers, including Audi and Porsche.

The company is yet to release an official statement.
