Manx police have issued a warning against anti-social behaviour ahead of Hop-tu-Naa.
The Isle of Man Constabulary say some people dread the annual celebration, fearing their property will be pelted with eggs and flour.
Officers have designed a poster for shops to display, showing that they are restricting the sale of flour and eggs to youths in the run up to October 31st.
Police encourage those getting involved in Hop-tu-Naa festivities to respect people's right not to participate and only to visit houses that openly display that they are taking part.
