Police urge van driver to come forward

Police are urging the driver of a van to come forward after they struck another vehicle in the south of the Island.

The Ford Transit hit another motorist's wing mirror while driving through Ballabeg on Wednesday evening.

The van left its own wing mirror at the scene, and the owner of the other vehicle has handed it in to the police station.

Officers insist if the van driver comes forward by the end of today they won't be taken to court.
