Over 100 Government workers are earning less than the living wage.
123 individuals who work for or are contracted by departments, boards and offices of the Manx Government are paid under £8.61 per hour.
The Department of Health and Social Care has the most workers paid the lowest wages with 53, while 39 of those who work within the Department of Education and Children also earn below the living wage.
However, Policy and Reform Minister Chris Thomas confirmed 85 of these are new starters within the civil service who will earn over £8.61 per hour after a year's service.
Mr Thomas revealed at this Month's Tynwald sitting that calculations had shown £8.61 to be the minimum level of payment for Manx residents to afford accommodation, food, household bills and other essentials.
