The Island's ferry operator will continue to sail to and from Belfast next year.
The Steam Packet Company had considered switching to Larne for its Northern Ireland route, but has decided to stick with Belfast following feedback from the public.
The operator received more than 3,000 responses to its public consultation, with foot passengers prefering the sailings that go to Belfast city centre.
However, the Steam Packet confirmed it will look at Larne again in the future if Belfast Harbour doesn't improve its linkspan facilities to allow larger vehicles to use its ferries.
