The Department of Health and Social Care says work on a new facility for adults with learning disabilities is well underway.
The £5m hub, which was given the go-ahead by Tynwald in July, is being built within the Noble's Hospital Estate in Braddan.
Minister Kate Beecroft recently took part in the breaking ground ceremony recently, marking the start of construction.
It's hoped the new building will improve the quality of life of those with learning disabilities.
The facility is due to be completed and handed over to the Department in 2019.
