Generator stolen from Groudle Glen Railway

Police are appealing for information after a generator was stolen from Groudle Glen Railway.

The Honda EM4500CX generator was taken from a secure container at the railway between 4.30pm on Sunday October 1st and 8am last Friday.

Officers say this is a heavy item which would have taken considerable effort to remove, and that the loss of such an expensive piece of equipment will impact on the railway, which is a charity.

Anyone with information on this theft is asked to contact Police Headquarters on 631212.
