Fri, 06 Oct 2017
New laws designed to combat fraud will come into effect on the Island next month.
The Fraud Act 2017 modernises how the Isle of Man can tackle fraud and associated offences such as aiding and abetting.
The Department of Home Affairs says the new legislation brings the Island more into line with global standards, and believes it will enhance the Island's reputation as a responsible international business centre.
The laws will be in place from November 1st.
