Police issue warning against illegal parking on Royal Avenue

Police are warning motorists in Onchan that they face fines if they continue to park illegally.

Officers from the Central Neighbourhood Policing Team have been issuing warning notices to vehicles parked illegally on junctions near the bottom of Royal Avenue.

Police say this happens too often and is dangerous, and is urging those in the area to spread the word to stop drivers parking in the wrong place.

Warning notices let drivers know that how they've parked isn't allowed, but officers warn fixed penalty tickets will be issued in the future.
