The new fire and ambulance station in the south of the Island will be officially opened tomorrow.
Staff moved to the new £1.45m facility earlier this year, but Home Affairs Minister Bill Malarkey and Health Minister Kate Beecroft will formally open the site tomorrow evening, unveiling a plaque to mark the occasion.
The new station includes a training ground, drive-in drive-out capability for ambulances and fire engines, and a 10-metre multi-purpose tower.
The station replaced Castletown fire station, which closed after more than 53 years, as well as the Southern Ambulance Station, which will close to be converted into a new fire station for Port Erin.
