Public Requisition meeting to be held in Bride next week

A public requisition meeting is being held in Bride next week.

The meetings been called to enable people to express their views about the proposed development of Glen Truan golf course.

Pure Leisure Group wants to develop luxury leisure facilities at the site in the north of the Island, including 55 log cabins, a luxury clubhouse and spa and wellbeing facilities.

The company also runs 10 holiday parks in England, as well as golf facilities in Cambridgeshire and North Yorkshire.

The public meeting will take place next Thursday at 7pm at Bride Methodist Hall.
