The clock is ticking to this year’s Ramsey SoapBox Racing.

The event on Sunday is now closed to entries, but the town is starting to take shape, with Ramsay library making a special display of a go-kart to get us in the mood.

The event takes place this Sunday at Windsor Mount next to the Mooragh Park from 2:30pm

Ramsey residents are reminded that parking at Windsor Mount, Cumberland Road from Lezayre Mount to the junction with Bay View, Bay View itself and Ballacloan Road is suspended from 11am for the entire length of the event

Road closures include Cumberland Road from Lezayre Mount to the junction with Bay View, Bay View itself, Windsor Mount and Ballacloan Road from 1pm until 6pm
