Year 7 students given taster sport sessions

It’s hoped Year 7 students at two of the Island’s secondary schools will have a new love of sport thanks to taster sessions.

The youngsters from Castle Rushen High School and Ramsey Grammar school were introduced to six sports last week, including hockey, netball, rugby, golf, badminton and judo.

Organised by Manx Sport and Recreation, it’s hoped the sessions will have given the children a new hobby and helped them to make new friends.
