Protesters will gather outside Central Government Offices this afternoon, angry at Manx Gas charges.
The chairman of the Office of Fair Trading will meet with the demonstrators who say many cannot afford the bills.
Since 2015, Manx Gas profits have been regulated via an agreement with the OFT, Treasury and Department of Economic Development, placing a ceiling on the amount of profit the private company, can make.
A spokesperson for Manx Gas is encouraging anyone who’s struggling to pay their bills or has concerns over the charges to contact them.
