Coastguard helps retrieve rally car

Douglas Coastguard recovered a rally car from Marine Drive following an incident during a Rally Isle of Man stage.

The crew was needed when a vehicle left the road during a stage on Saturday afternoon.

Officers helped paramedics remove one person from the vehicle, using a basket stretcher to take them to safety.

The team then winched the car back to the road, while the driver and co-driver were both taken to hospital for treatment.
