Walkers ready for End to End

Over 250 walkers will take to the Island's roads in the annual End to End Walk this weekend.

261 people have signed up for the 39-mile event, which stretches from the Point of Ayre to The Sound.

As a result, the Sloc Road will be closed between the Round Table and Ballakillowey Estate between 1pm and 4.30pm tomorrow.

Last year's event was won by Richard Gerrard, while Karen Chiarello was the first woman across the finish line.
