Two Manx cyclists have been confirmed in Great Britain's team for the upcoming UCI Road World Championships.
Team Sky's Peter Kennaugh and Aqua Bluesport's Mark Christian, who completed his first Grand Tour at the Vuelta a Espana this month, have been included in the nine-man squad for the road race.
Former world champion Mark Cavendish had been included in the long list, but he withdrew from selection after abandoning the Tour of Britain on the final day at the weekend.
British under-23 time women's time trial champion Anna Christian also misses out after being named on the long list for the women's event.
The championships get underway in Bergen in Norway this weekend, with the men's road race taking place next Sunday.
