Football club installs CCTV to deter vandals

One of the Island's football clubs has revealed it's installed CCTV at its ground after being targeted by vandals.

Peel Football Club confirmed cameras have been set up to monitor the pitch, stand, car park and the spectator Shed at its Douglas Road home.

The club says it's disappointing but protecting the facilities has to be a priority.

Vandalism and graffiti have happened at the ground in the last few years, including over this summer.

The club is also reminding those who use the ground that the facilities should only be used by those with permission from the club.
