Planning permission sought for Ramsey micro-distillery

Planning permission is being sought to turn a Ramsey building into a micro-distillery.

The Fynoderee Distillery, who want to brew a Manx dry gin, rum and whiskey, want to set up their headquarters on West Quay in Ramsey.

The company is applying for permission to refurbish the building, creating a new frontage and changing the use of the building.

The site would also include an off-licence to sell their produce, as well as a bottling room and warehouse.

The distillery would be open between 8am and 6pm weekdays, but could occasionally vary to include tasting sessions subject to licensing.
