Braddan, Garff to trial shared housing list

Two local authorities and the Department of Infrastructure are to trial a shared housing list for the east of the Island.

Braddan Parish Commissioners and Garff Commissioners have confirmed they will use one list for public sector tenants.

It's hoped the shared list will give those seeking a home access to a greater number of properties and wider geographical area.

Similar shared lists are already in place in other areas of the Island.

Onchan District Commissioners were also invited to take part in the trial, but chose to keep their list separate.
