A full-time Judge of Appeal has been appointed for the first time the Isle of Man.
Jeremy Storey QC takes over from Judge Geoffrey Tattersall QC, in a role that has previously been a part-time position.
Mr Storey has previous experience of the Manx courts, having worked as an Acting Deemster since 1999.
Mr Storey studied at Cambridge University before becoming a QC in 1994, as has been a Deputy High Court Judge in England and Wales since 2008.
The post is appointed by The Queen on a five-year basis.
