Over 1500 people have signed a petition calling for Government to end plans to charge pensioners for prescriptions.
The change.org petition, which also wants charges for those with chronic illnesses to be scrapped, was set up on Saturday, and has already attracted over 1500 supporters.
Currently all Manx residents of pension age aren't charged for prescription drugs, but the Department of Health and Social Care recently revealed plans to bring in charges for those under 75 years old.
Patients with chronic illnesses would also have to pay for their medication, while the cost per item is also due to increase under the proposals.
