Government donates £62,000 to projects in Africa

The Manx Government is donating £62,000 to support two Christian Aid projects in Africa.

One project will seek to improve inclusive education for disabled children in Zimbabwe, providing practical education and life-skills support to 1,020 children in 24 schools.

The other scheme will improve the efficiency and incomes of 6,500 honey producers in Kenya.

The International Development Small Grants scheme provides funding for projects run by Manx charities over a two-year period.
