Driver treated for minor injuries after car rolls onto side

A driver needed treatment for minor injuries after their car came to rest on its side near the airport.

The emergency services were called to the scene yesterday evening after the vehicle rolled onto its side at the north roundabout by Ronaldsway.

Fire crews used stabilisation equipment to help clear the scene and gave the man first aid before handing him over to paramedics for further treatment.

The road was closed for around an hour while the road was cleared.
