Visiting biker sustains serious head injuries in Mountain Road crash

A visiting biker sustained serious head injuries following a crash on the Mountain Road.

The 50-year-old male German motorcyclist has been flown off Island for further treatment as a result of the collision.

The crash happened yesterday lunchtime between Brandywell and the Hairpin, with a motorbike and car involved in the incident.

The route was shut for around two hours yesterday afternoon as a result of the incident.
