An Onchan MHK believes the area's Commissioners have been unfair in their dismissal of the local authority's clerk.
Michael Morrison was sacked by Onchan District Commissioners yesterday, less than a year after taking up his post.
Rob Callister, who served as a Commissioner before being elected to the House of Keys last year, confirmed he's received a number of calls and comments about the sacking.
Mr Callister revealed he doesn't think the board has been fair towards their employee, but is keen to see a copy for a letter being sent to Mr Morrison, explaining the reasons for his dismissal.
The MHK believes there was an alternative route for dealing with the situation, and hopes that the Commissioners can learn from this situation.
