Cutting-edge equipment to help those who suffer from prolonged dizziness is now available at Noble's Hospital.
An £18,000 ICS Impulse device has been donated to the hospital by the League of Friends of Noble's Hospital.
The Department of Health and Social Care says the new device, which look like a pair of glasses, can quickly perform a balance test.
Previously, those needing a balance test had to wait six to eight weeks and attend a separate clinic where they would undergo a two-hour procedure, which was often uncomfortable for the patient.
The League has donated over £1m in equipment, furnishings and other items to improve patient comfort at Noble's over the last decade.
