The Snaefell Mountain Railway is operating again after undergoing speed trials.
The service was suspended earlier this week after failing to comply with a lower speed limit imposed by the Health and Safety at Work Inspectorate.
Trials took place yesterday morning to confirm speed monitoring equipment and speed management procedures were in place, allowing the service to resume.
The mountain trams are under investigation by health and safety chiefs after the brakes failed on a carriage last week, resulting in it speeding through the Bungalow before the emergency Fell brake could be applied.
