Lifeboat searches for upturned kayak

Ramsey lifeboat crew was called out following reports of an upturned kayak off the coast of the Island.

Belfast Coastguard asked the team to check the area after a passing vessel spotted the kayak around 15 miles north east of Ramsey on Thursday morning.

The crew spent almost 4 hours carrying out an extensive search of the area, but with no-one reported missing the lifeboat returned to the station.
