Thu, 10 Aug 2017
Fire crews were called out when the animal waste plant on Richmond Hill became heavily smoke logged.
Two fire engines from Douglas attended the facility behind the incinerator yesterday afternoon.
Crews switched off the electrical supply before clearing the room of smoke before investigating the cause.
The teams spent two hours at the scene, eventually tracing the cause to the rear of the boiler unit.
