Almost 1500 people have responded to a public consultation about changes to the Island's abortion laws in just three days.
Ramsey MHK Alex Allinson, who drafted the Abortion Reform Bill, revealed 1498 responses had been received by yesterday evening.
The first draft of the proposed new laws was published on Monday, with the public invited to provide feedback before the legislation goes before Tynwald.
The changes include allowing women up to 14 weeks pregnant to undergo abortions on the Island, as well as changes to rules for later terminations.
Full details of the Bill and the consultation are available on the Government's website.
